Trump Orders Federal Agencies to Quell Riots in Los Angeles

President Trump has directed federal agencies, including the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), National Guard, and Justice Department, to take any necessary action to restore order in Los Angeles following violent riots. The unrest began Friday evening after ICE agents conducted lawful raids on several businesses in the city, leading to clashes between illegal aliens, anti-ICE rioters, and federal agents.
Violence escalated as rioters set cars on fire, assaulted federal agents, and clashed with police. Tens of thousands of protestors marched through Los Angeles on Sunday to oppose ICE operations, with some carrying Mexican flags and lighting fireworks near a burning vehicle. Rioters also disrupted traffic on the 101 freeway, further destabilizing the city.
In a statement on Truth Social, Trump vowed to expel illegal aliens and restore order, declaring, “A once great American City, Los Angeles, has been invaded and occupied by Illegal Aliens and Criminals.” He emphasized that the lawless riots would only strengthen the administration’s resolve to halt the migrant invasion and end the violence.
Federal agencies are now mobilizing to liberate Los Angeles from the chaos, with Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem, Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth, and Attorney General Pam Bondi coordinating efforts to quell the riots and secure the city. The administration remains steadfast in its commitment to enforce immigration laws and protect American communities.
