Denmark Migrants Brutally Attack Gay Men, Film and Share Violent Assaults

Two teenage migrants, aged 15 and 16, have been sentenced in Denmark for orchestrating brutal assaults on gay men in Odense. The attackers, who posed as adults on a gay dating app, lured victims to secluded locations, where they subjected them to severe physical and verbal abuse. The assaults were premeditated, with the attackers filming the violence and sharing the footage online.
Prosecutors described the attacks as "particularly crude and brutal," with one victim suffering multiple brain hemorrhages and requiring stitches after being beaten with a metal club and shot with an airgun. The attackers justified their actions by falsely accusing the victims of being pedophiles, a claim the court dismissed as a pretext for violence.
The boys, reportedly of non-Danish ethnic backgrounds, claimed their actions were inspired by religious beliefs, citing Islamic teachings that condemn homosexuality. Their justification reflects broader tensions between jihadist theology and modern societal norms, highlighting the role of radical ideologies in fueling global conflicts.
The case has sparked calls for stricter immigration policies, with some advocating for the deportation of non-citizens from the Middle East. The trial underscores the challenges of integration and the need for accountability in addressing violent extremism linked to religious extremism.
