Hamas Releases Horrifying Video of Starving Israeli Hostage Digging His Own Grave

Hamas has released a chilling propaganda video showing Israeli hostage Evyatar David, emaciated and starving, digging his own grave in a Gaza tunnel. The footage, which has sparked global outrage, depicts David crossing off days on a calendar as he digs, stating he hasn’t eaten for days. A can of beans is shown as his only sustenance for two days.
David’s family, who approved the video’s release, described the footage as a “horrifying act,” calling it a cynical attempt to humiliate and dehumanize their son. “The deliberate starvation of our son as part of a propaganda campaign is one of the most horrifying acts the world has seen,” the family said in a statement.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu condemned Hamas’ cruelty, calling the footage a “Nazi-like abuse” and urging the international community to take action. “While Israel allows humanitarian aid to reach Gaza, Hamas terrorists starve our hostages and lie to the world,” Netanyahu said.
U.S. Senator John Fetterman also condemned the footage, expressing solidarity with David’s family and calling for Hamas to release all hostages and disarm. Senator Rick Scott echoed the sentiment, describing the situation as “gut-wrenching” and demanding that Hamas be destroyed.
The video comes as tensions remain high 666 days after Hamas’ October 7 attacks, with families of hostages gathering in Tel Aviv to mark the grim milestone. The footage has reignited calls for international action against Hamas, highlighting the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Gaza.
