Hamas has released a chilling propaganda video showing Israeli hostage Evyatar David, emaciated and starving, digging his own grave in a Gaza tunnel. The footage, which has sparked global outrage, depicts David crossing off days on a calendar as he digs, stating he hasn’t eaten for days. A can of beans is shown as his only sustenance for two days.
David’s family, who approved the video’s release, described the footage as a “horrifying act,” calling it a cynical attempt to humiliate and dehumanize their son. “The deliberate starvation of our son as part of a propaganda campaign is one of the most horrifying acts the world has seen,” the family said in a statement.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu condemned Hamas’ cruelty, calling the footage a “Nazi-like abuse” and urging the international community to take action. “While Israel allows humanitarian aid to reach Gaza, Hamas terrorists starve our hostages and lie to the world,” Netanyahu said.
