Illegal Alien from Venezuela Charged in Fatal Jet Ski Collision with U.S. Air Force Cadet Candidate

Daikerlyn Alejandra Gonzalez Gonzalez, an illegal alien from Venezuela, was arrested Tuesday for the fatal hit-and-run jet ski collision that killed 18-year-old Ava Moore. Ava, an accomplished kayaker and recent graduate of the U.S. Air Force Academy Preparatory School, had been accepted into the Class of 2029. The incident occurred on Lake Grapevine, Texas, on Sunday, where Gonzalez allegedly struck Ava with a jet ski before fleeing the scene with another illegal alien, Maikel Coello Perozo. Both suspects were arrested after witnesses captured the incident on video. Authorities reported that Gonzalez operated the jet ski recklessly, ignoring the safety of others, before colliding with Ava’s kayak. After the collision, Gonzalez fled the scene with Perozo, who was later arrested for fleeing and causing a hit-and-run. Booking photos of both suspects were released, and a press conference is scheduled for further updates. The U.S. Air Force Academy mourned Ava’s loss, highlighting her dedication to leadership and service. Superintendent Lt Gen Tony Bauernfeind expressed condolences to her family and community, emphasizing the impact Ava had on her peers.
