Abraham Accords Nations Express Concern Over U.S. Strikes on Iran’s Nuclear Sites

Abraham Accords nations, including the UAE, Bahrain, Morocco, and Sudan, have expressed concern over recent U.S. strikes on Iran’s nuclear facilities, calling for de-escalation to avoid regional instability. The UAE emphasized the need to prevent further conflict, while Bahrain urged swift resumption of negotiations to restore peace.
Israel launched targeted attacks on Iran’s nuclear sites, military facilities, and leadership following a failed diplomatic deadline set by the U.S. Abraham Accords countries recognize the threat posed by Iran, which funds and arms proxies like the Houthis, Polisario Front, and former Sudanese regime, endangering regional security.
Despite their calls for calm, these nations view Iran’s radical regime as a destabilizing force and would welcome its removal. Iran’s recent missile attack on a U.S. base in Qatar, which caused no casualties, further strained tensions. The UAE and Bahrain condemned the attack, expressing solidarity with Qatar.
Experts note that the Abraham Accords countries are witnesses to Israel and the U.S.’s successful military operations against Iran, potentially paving the way for more nations to join the Accords and promote regional stability.
