Christianity Thrives in Iran Despite Oppression

A new testimony from Ramin Parsa, born in Iran in 1986, reveals the resilience of Christianity within the Islamic regime that seized power nearly 50 years ago. Despite decades of persecution, including Parsa’s own experiences of being kidnapped and tortured by Islamic morality police, Christianity continues to grow in Iran.
Parsa recounted how he was raised in an environment of hatred, with textbooks depicting anti-Semitic caricatures and fostering animosity toward Jews and Israel. However, his life took a dramatic turn when he encountered a gospel message on a Christian television station. After prayerfully seeking Jesus, Parsa experienced a profound transformation, describing a overwhelming sense of love, peace, and freedom.
Now, Parsa works with ministries supporting victims of terrorism, including those impacted by Hamas’ October 7 attacks in Israel. His story is part of a growing body of evidence showing that Christianity is not only surviving but thriving in Iran, despite the regime’s efforts to suppress it.
